By increasing workflow speed and efficiency to match the exceptional
performance of Heidelberg/Creo output devices, Prinergy unlocks the
true profit potential of computer-to-plate CTP.
Prinergy is the first joint-venture workflow product developed through
the combined experience, expertise and commitment of Heidelberg and
Creo. The Prinergy system architecture was designed with four major
objectives in mind:
To help printers and prepress professionals achieve reliable process control and maximum productivity.
To bring visibility to job progress at all stages of prepress.
To focus on strengthening teamwork by removing bottlenecks in prepress and making it easy to share information in real-time.
To make Prinergy an open, accessible tool based on industry-standard file formats.
Prinergy is scalable to a multi-server, multi-user environment. Its
distributed architecture allows the system to grow with the pace of
business. Software and hardware components are independent and can be
added or upgraded individually as required. As a result, the system is
affordable and accessible even to smaller commercial printers, but can
be easily scaled to accommodate the more extensive requirements of
larger publication printers.

web offset presses, digital printing systems, electronic prepress quipment and software, as well as finishing solutions.
The use of computers to prepare camera-ready materials up to the actual
printing stage. It includes drawing, page makeup and typesetting, all
performed electronically rather than by drafting or mechanical cut and
paste methods.
